唱一首六便士的歌，
A Pocketful of Rye；
一袋子满满的黑麦；
Four-and-Twenty BlackbirdsBaked in a Pie.
把二十四只黑鸫，
烤进馅饼里。
9When the Pie was opened， 切开馅饼时，
The birds began to sing； 黑鸫唱起来；
Was not that a dainty Dish，
To set before the King？
这么美味的佳肴，
快献给国王尝一尝？
The King was in his Counting-house，
Counting out his Money.
国王正在国库里，
清点财富呢。
The Queen was in the Parlour， 皇后正在大厅里，
Eating Bread and Honey. 享用面包和蜂蜜。
The Maid was in the Garden，
Hanging out the Clothes；
女仆正在花园里，
晾晒衣服呢；
There came a little Blackbird， 飞来了一只小黑鸫，
And snapped off her Nose. 往她的鼻子上啄。
But there came a Jenny Wren
and popped it on again.
