本档节目是受众喜闻乐见的综艺娱乐类的设计定位，加之是以名人为中心展开的内容介绍，所以，更使节目具有由所聚焦的名人带来的“光环”。一般情况下，这类节目还是有一定的观众群的，毕竟之所以被冠以“名人”的嘉宾，还是有其得到这一称谓的原因，也就有了一定的追随之“粉丝”。
然而，这类节目又是受到很高期望值的要求的。毕竟，“名人”之所以有名，是因为公众已经比较了解他/她了。这样，如此的“名人”也就不会被媒体的聚光灯所遗忘。进而对节目的设计就有了新的要求，否则，就会给受众带去重复的内容或没有新意的感觉。本档节目的设计者、主持者Suo Xiajing的设计，还是有一定的新意的。
首先，这档节目的切入点接近对外播出的要求，主要体现在节目聚焦的歌唱演员与国际社会的关系。这样的开始，可以使得异域受众的注意力被演员所去的国家和对其演唱的反应所吸引。另外，异域受众由于旅游活动普及的原因，大部分西欧国家已经成为他们曾经旅游的美好记忆，那么，当节目里提到这些国家时，他们会感到很亲切，从而开始跟随节目而更关注演员的故事了。
其次，节目没有仅仅停留在对这位歌唱演员的聚焦，而是转向对今天形势下民歌在年轻人生活当中的位置。这就有了娱乐加文化关注的视角，为对外广播需有的跨文化诠译特质增加了砝码。更为出彩的是，节目设计了邀请一位学英语的大学生来解释为何喜欢民歌演唱者及民歌的原因。因为，如此的安排，又使学习西方文化的年轻人对本民族文化的坚守与将其带向世界的心理趋势得到展现。如此的设计，使得很容易“炒冷饭”的“名人综艺化”节目不仅有了新意，而且凸显了对外广播具有的文化交流的特色。

整体看来，这档节目的设计是属于周全的。但是，若将其放在国际传播网的水准上，就有了一个漏洞，即：节目聚焦的歌唱演员既然在世界各地演唱了，那么，非本土的受众对其的欣赏度、知名度又是否能与节目的介绍相契合吗？为了增加没有听过看过其演唱的异域受众的直接感觉，加进一些异域观众的现场访谈资料，或在节目制作地能够找到的外国人来几段受访的片断的话，会将节目的传播效果加强。
